General Information

James Madison University (JMU), a Division I member of the NCAA and Colonial Athletic Association, is accepting applications for a Head Women’s Soccer Coach to develop a highly competitive program. The Head Women’s Soccer Coach is a full-time, Administrative and Professional Faculty member with a comprehensive benefits package, responsible for providing an exemplary student-athlete experience emphasizing academic achievement, personal development, social responsibility and competitive excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and a high level of integrity and honesty. Candidates must have the ability to teach, train and motivate student-athletes in order to achieve competitive excellence. The Head Coach will direct the women’s soccer program; coach student-athletes in the quest for competitive success; organize and schedule practices, APR, facilities, games, weight room, team travel and budget; recruit student-athletes who meet admission requirements and will ensure NCAA, CAA and JMU regulations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- College soccer coaching experience
- Coaching experience at the NCAA championship level
- Proven recruiting skills; successful recruiting of high level student-athletes

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- Five (5) years of coaching experience at a Division I collegiate level
